Presales productization
Presales productization is the process of converting past delivered work into a fixed-scope, fixed-price offer that can be sold repeatedly without rebuilding the proposal.
Most founder-led agencies write every proposal from a blank page, re-negotiating scope, staffing, and price each time. Productization takes the engagement with the strongest delivery record and fixes its stages, deliverables, staffing, and price tiers in advance.
The output is usually a named, priced offer (for example, a ten-day diagnostic or a staged sprint) supported by ready-made sales collateral, so someone other than the founder can sell it.
Why it mattersWithout productization, the founder remains the only person who can accurately scope and price new work, which caps how fast the sales function can operate without them.
