Account intelligence
Account intelligence is written research on a named target account — who decides, what changed recently, and where the incumbent is exposed.
Account intelligence turns a cold outreach into a specific, timed approach. Instead of a generic pitch, the seller opens with something true about the account this month: a hire, a leadership change, a product launch, a public complaint about a vendor.
For agencies, this usually means a one- to two-page dossier per target: buying committee, budget signals, competitive incumbent, and a stated reason the timing fits. It is built before the first email, not assembled after a reply.
Why it mattersFounder-led agencies often rely on the founder's personal knowledge of an account. Account intelligence makes that knowledge reproducible by anyone on the team.
